.Icy Dancing under Aurora Sky.

Long time ago since I spent this much time on a pic, but finally it's done! This is supposed to be an entry for the contest at . To draw a Yoshi based of any element. so I chose ice, it's one of my favorite. Then I came up with this!

Meet Freesia. She's a talented ice-skating Yoshi, who loves winter. Especially when you can go and ice-skate at nights, when the air's cold and refreshing and when the snow's glittering so beautiful. She's one charming Yoshi, and has a liking to tease only those close to her. Among others, she's usually calm and gentle. Her least favorite thing is cooking, and she's not very skilful at it either. Mostly because she easily gets hurt in some way or is burned by the stove. So she rather sticks with eating fruit, especially kiwi is a favorite.

Though this one took long, I had a fun time doing this. The background was a delighting work to do. The only thing that was a pain to do was the lineart. I used a Vector Mask for the first time, and geez, it's hard I think. X_x And not really handy. I don't know if it's supposed to be easier, but to me it was way harder than doing it simply with the pen tool. Oh well, I'm learning. I also don't like how I did the reflection of Freesia on the ice. X( It's too plain, but I wanted some sort of shadow there. Couldn't do any better than that (then again, I was lazy and wanted to finish this pic already).
